The UNICAL Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Florence Obi stated her readiness for the partnership with the Leaders Without Borders Development Centre (LWB-DC) in the area of Information and Communication Technology, Networking and Infrastructure.

This was disclosed at the interactive session led by the Principal Partner and Co-Founder, Dr. Hillary Emoh, BeepMagnet International Group Chairman, Dr. Gilead Okolonkwo, and other Executives present.

Dr. Gilead Okolonkwo, CEO/Chairman BeepMagnet International Group  (the mother group company for Simple Merchant) and an Executive Director of Leaders Without Borders Development Centre said in the interactive meeting about the partnership of UNICAL with LWB-DC and Simple Merchant;

“It is obviously clear that the conventional means that got us here cannot take us further. We are at a time where we need to start solving problems unconventionally, with the use of technology.”

“And one of the major sectors Simple Merchant focuses on is the Business Sector. Simple Merchant’s technology and infrastructure are created to strengthen the relationship between Merchants and consumers using discounts.”

“ We are coming to provide the same value across all universities and institutions of higher learning in Africa willing to welcome leaders without borders and her LIFE Club membership card Access powered by Simple merchant”.

In his statement Josh Diamond, the Head of Sales & Marketing for BeepMagnet International Group (the mother group company for Simple Merchant) furthermore buttress Dr. Okolonkwo’s point saying;

“Consumers want a brand that listens to them, and the youth capture the larger population of the consumers’ statistics. Hence it’s time for business brands to hear their cry & voices.”

Simple Merchant’s technology is going to change the way business is done Nationally, Internationally, and of course, Globally.”

Enough is enough the consumers cry, and all they ask for is a Brand that listens.

And with the rapid increase of Simple Merchant’s cardholders by the minute across the continent, it is becoming obvious that brands who listen will get more awareness, sales, and more loyal customers.

Josh Diamond also added; “This is not just about offering or getting discounts, it is about connecting with the youth population on a much deeper level.”

And this new collaboration at the University of Calabar is proof of things about to come.
