CDQ Blasts Beyonce For Not Properly Crediting His “Boy” Wizkid
Indigenous Nigerian rapper, CDQ has called out American singer, Beyoncé for not properly crediting his “boy” Wizkid for his work on “Brown Skin Girl“.
According to the NSNS boss, the American trailblazer didn’t properly credit Wizkid in the music video for the chart-topping song, “Brown Skin Girl”.
CDQ claims Wizkid didn’t have enough screen presence in the visuals despite the fact that he sang a major part of the song.
He also complained of the fact that Wizkid’s name was placed last after the names of people who didn’t even sing in the song.
He wrote, “Omoo but Americans Dey take piss sometimes o 🤨 how d fuck my bwoi Wiz go sing full song with u Beyonce and u com show am briefly for d video 🤷♀️ still put some names b4 him com carry him name put for back back like say na ajasa e just do for d song…😕 ogun wan kill una papa ni“.
In reaction to his tweet however, some people echoed his opinion, saying Wizkid was placed amongst “others” despite him singing the largest portion of the song, others however saw anything wrong with the video and act.
