AKA ft. Nasty C – Lemons (Lemonade)
Deceased South African rapper, AKA‘s previous song, “Lemons (Lemonade),” has taken over the charts following his demise.
“Lemons (Lemonade)” is a hip-hop record that brought AKA and Nasty C together, flexing through the sleek song that samples their nexus.
In the first verse of the release, AKA let’s the world know that he’s past the mourning stage of his late fiancée Anele Tembe, and at the same time he wants to thank God that people showed their true colors when he was going through tough times.
The song has reached the top spot on all charts in South Africa. “Lemons (Lemonade)” was certified platinum by the Recording Industry of South Africa (RiSA).The song was produced by Oriah Tshepo Phahlane, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, Fundile Dlamini, Christer Mofenyi Koebedi, and Tshepo Benjamin Khutsoane.
On February 10, 2023, AKA was shot dead outside a restaurant in Durban. Following AKA’s tragic death a few days ago, there have been lots of condolences on and off the internet.
