Kibar, originally known as Odeh Israel Okpoto is a Nigerian songwriter, composer and recording artist from Ogun state, although he shares strong ties with his Edo roots. The 24-year-old is set to release his official debut titled “BOTHER” and is produced by Chopam.
Kibar is an origin from Ogun state but was born in Edo state where he had a brief childhood before moving to a series of Nigerian states, including Lagos the home of Nigeria entertainment.
His musical roots involve church choir and school music curricular activities where the youngster got awareness for his skills with musical instruments like the talking drum and a few others.
The afro-pop youngster has an early music background and has shown his interest and passion for the craft since he was a kid, making a name for himself throughout his community and winning many hearts and accolades along the way.
