Culdaet is an afro-hip-hop artist currently residing in the United States. He grew up in Swedru, Ghana (a small town 60 miles from the capital Accra). While being the oldest of five siblings, Culdaet’s musical roots began with his mother, who sang in the church choir sparking his love for music.
At the age of 16, Culdaet got his hands on a dusty laptop and a cracked version of Fruity Loops and has been making music since. When he turned 21, he hopped on a plane and made his way to America. He took up roots in Virginia, all the while continuing to hone and master his craft.
Singer/Rapper/Producer, Culdaet has developed a multitude of skills related to the music industry. He has shot and directed multiple music videos, creates his own album artwork, a professional photographer as well as a web designer. This multi-faceted, multi-disciplined artist is set to make waves in America & his home country Ghana. Merging model hip-hop, pop, and R&B with traditional African sounds, Culdaet is on a one-man mission to continue to bridge the gap between American & African music.
