Michael Zorc, Borussia Dortmund’s sporting director, confirmed in a press conference that Achraf Hakimi will go back to Real Madrid at the end of the season. He also made clear that they will train and get him back out on loan next season.
Achraf will go back to Real Madrid when this season ends. It has been confirmed. The Borussia Dortmund sporting director, Michael Zorc, said it in a press conference and the club’s Twitter account also confirmed the news.
But they also made clear that they would try and get him out on loan again. The current deal is a two year one and it is due to expire in a few months. Therefore, the board members referred to his contractual situation, not that they would not try and keep him longer.

“The contractual situation is clear: he’ll return to Real Madrid for now. However, we are try to make sure he can play for us again next term. But it’s too early to discuss that now,” were Zorc’s exact words.
As had been specified, things will have to be taken calmly. You have to bear in mind that the transfer market this summer is facing an unprecedented devaluation due to the coronavirus crisis. That could affect Achraf’s situation.
