Polo G’s latest single “Rapstar” took off immediately when it was released last week, debuting at #1 on Spotify in the U.S. and #1 on the Apple Music global chart.
The Billboard Hot 100 chart was updated today (April 19) and the Chicago rapper finds himself atop the summit, achieving the highest streaming debut of 2021 for a male artist and the 2nd highest streaming debut of the year for any artist in the U.S. with 56 million streams. The track also achieved the 2nd highest Spotify streaming debut of the year in the U.S. and earned over 353k in consumption first week, making it the third-highest first-week consumption debut of the year.
