“Alemo” dance is a recreated version of an aged long popular dance called Asonogun originated from the Ishan speaking tribe of South-South region of Nigeria in West Africa.
The dance was recreated re-branded, and brought into fame by a renowned Nigeria based music producer, singer and song writer by name Isaac Imafi popularly known as “ZIK” who is one of the most outstanding artists currently under a record deal with DeepEnd Entertainment.
“Alemo dance” appeals to male and female, young and old even as it gives one the feeling of life in music and dance. Zik has released several songs to his credit. He has produced some hit songs for other music artists. Alemo is becoming the trending dance in Africa as it’s gradually grabbing the attention of millions of people world over.
