Nigerian afro-fusion artiste, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has won the 2020 BET best international act award. Making it the second one in a row.
Recall, in 2019, Burna Boy was announced the winner of the International best act flooring Mr. Eazi and Teni Makanaki to win the award.
Also, Burna’s Boy’s mother picked up the award on his behalf and delivered a special message while accepting the honor for the “Best International Act” at the BET Awards.
Sunday night he was also announced the winner in the category that has as contenders singers
such as Stormzy, Dave, both UK based, Ninho and S.Pri Noir(France), Sho Madjozi(South Africa), and Innoss’B(DRC).
Also, Naomi Campbell an international model presented him the award.
In another news, the fast-rising Nigerian hip hop rapper and Afro beats singer, Rema lost out in the Best New International Act”.
The award was won by Sha Sha from Zimbabwe.
